CircuitTree In Schools

Empowering Kids With IoT Tech Training

CircuitTree is working in partnership with the Indian Springs public school in Big Bend, California to integrate an automated gardening system into their greenhouse for their "Garden 2 Lunch" program. This program produces food for the school lunches and has been recognized by the state as one of the best student lunch programs.

We are working with the school to set up a vermiculture system and a smart device driven automated watering system that the students can be a part of operating from within the classroom and greenhouse. We are setting up a pilot program for students to work with latest tech and offer introductory level programming, "maker", DIY and other courses for the students to expand their understanding of the latest tech in our world today — giving students the chance to learn, apply, and succeed at creating something for themselves in this world today.

Students will learn how to build and program a micro device that can control the garden, and a weather station. This will help them learn basic IoT tech skills and awaken their awareness to an industry they may not have previously realized is of interest. Students are empowered with real-world technological skills while working in their own micro local environment.

Online courses will be available soon, and this program will be extended to other schools across the country and across the world.
